So what is new with ya'll? I have been doing a lot of school, getting up at 6:30, doing school on and off until 9:00 staying up until 11:00 playing the computer and going to bed. Whew! Thats's a fun life. =D

It's been 20 years since I entered into the World, currently I'm attending a trade school. I like to do a lot of stuff which include, Computer Generation, Growing in Christ, music and fellowshiping with people (especially with food!)

About your Airsoft: Yes you want to use .20gram bb. Why? cause they are heavier and are more accurrate to a greater distance, also the cheap bbs can damage your hopup system.
The hopup puts a back spin on the bbs so that they create lift
and go farther. the cheap bbs have ridges and uneven drag and dont fly strate. you will notice a big differance. Also when buying bbs get them in bulk you will save a bit of money. www.airsplat.com is an online warehouse and is alot less than any airsoft stores. btw 5000 bbs go pretty quick with full auto.
I was thinking more like walmart or Dick's like on of those types of stores, I don't really want to buy them online because then you pay a lot for shipping. Are Crosman bb's good?
Walmart should work but i wouldnt recomend going to small store because they have alot of overhead.
Does crossman make 6mm bbs? most .20gram bbs are probably just fine, but the lighter the weight the cheaper they are in price and quality. Useing your gun with heavier bbs you should be able to outrange your brothers gun and have greater accuracy at that range.
Actually I was looking at walmart and they don't have any seamless BB's except for .12's. I saw they have .20's but they come in 2000's and they have seams. Do seams themselves matter? Or is there only a problem when they are really noticable and have 'frays' (if you will)? I noticed on airsplat that there are some .20's-10,000 for $31 plus a get one free of 5,000. They are ICS, are they any good? Also, if they say high grade precision does that mean they are seamless?
I don't think that my pistol has a hopup system, (it is a spring) does that mean I can use any bb with it? I guess I use .12's so that they will carry farther.
Actually my brother isn't getting the same gun he was going to, he is now getting one that shoots 285 like mine. Thanks for your help.
P.s how is the shipping for airsplat, is it distance related?
Shipping? I think that it is flat rate. The bbs that you mentioned are exellent, I use them myself.
Seamless, very important if you like your bbs to fly straight. They tend to fly not straght with the little seams catching the air pulling them sideways.
Do the lighter bbs fly farther? no not really, they go about the same.
Are bb's only seamless if they say so or does like precision ground mean seamless?
Will it HURT my hop up system to use seamed bb's or just make it less effective?
Seams, they come from injection molding. If it hs been ground it does not have those ridges.
Can it hurt your hopup? Yes. The hopup is made out of a piece of rubberband like material. So the ridges can slowly scrape throught it.

Last question, does high grade mean seamless? Since precision ground means it? Basically I guess that if I can see even faint seams, it isn't seamless.
the ground bbs dont have seams, most of the high grade bbs are ground, probably all of the high grade bbs are ground, that is the best way to make them.
